I had a telescope, camera, laptop, portable power, etc., and it was all I could do to hold umbrellas and try to keep things dry. In the end I gave up about 10 minutes before totality. I saw a partial eclipse for a few seconds following totality. Shame really -- will have to go and see another one now!
